DataCenter Operations Analyst - PHX (16831) – Phoenix

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a DataCenter Operations Analyst to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Responsibilities:
Provides operational support for systems hardware, peripherals and software within Perot Systems data centers and related facilities. Identifies, isolates, and resolves problems. Works in conjunction with the Technical support staff to implement immediate resolutions to more critical problems. Work with Operations personnel to identify areas of possible automation and/or improvement to provide better customer service, enhance problem resolution techniques. Understands and manages problems utilizing defined Problem and Change Management Policies and Procedures. Provides all or many of the following services: Monitor systems consoles for problems, manage systems availability, production scheduling and control, reports distribution, service level support, administration and controls, equipment operation, backup recovery, procedural documentation, and execution of the disaster recovery plan. Responsible for server installation and decommissions. Participate and provide support for multiple project planning and implementation phases.


Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience working in a Datacenter in an Operational support role.
  
• Ability to lift and move 45 lbs on a consistent basis.
  
• 2+ years of knowledge of basic server cabling
  
• Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
  
  Desired Skills:
  
• Healthcare background preferred.
  
  Minimum Educational Requirements:
  
• A+ certification preferred
