Job Summary:
Under the guidance of the web operations manager, the email specialist will assist in the creation and implementation of email marketing and retention campaigns. The Email Specialist will work with different departments to assess the needs and requirements and will track and analyze the results for each campaign.

The Email Specialist is responsible for ensuring all the outgoing emails have been approve and have correct and working links, images, subject lines, and are in compliance with all company processes, privacy requirements and all enacted SPAM legislation.

The email specialist will be responsible for working collaboratively as a member of the web operations and marketing team in a fast-paced environment, with focus on completing work in accordance with established plans and quality standards. Ability to multitask and be involved with several different initiatives and job responsibilities is a necessity.

Ongoing Job Responsibilities:

• Work with marketing and other departments to write compelling copy
• Work with web designer to design email creative
• Track and analyze email performance
• Manage email lists including importing/exporting into email program
• Research and maintain program in accordance to best practices
• Compare and track other email campaigns

Requirements:

• Skilled in Microsoft programs including Word and Excel
• Bachelor's degree in related field, plus 1-3 years experience

• Strong written and oral communications
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Able to translate business goals, initiatives and technical information into messages easily understood by a variety of audiences

• Creative team player

• Should be entrepreneurial but work well in a team environment
• Problem-solver and quick learner
• Effective project management and analytical skills with ability to adjust to shifting priorities
• Ability to perform well under pressure and on schedule

Preferences:

• Basic knowledge of HTML and design
• Knowledge of email best practices and/or programs
• Experience in email marketing
