Description
Java Developer
Description: Works on problems involving the evaluation of specifications for complex business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and develops and prepares computer solutions. Performs and leads modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by preparing test data for trial runs, tests and debugs programs. Participates in the overall systems testing. Supports the implementation of the application into production.
Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 5-7 years experience.
Must have prior development experience with J2EE technologies and the ability to understand all J2EE components.
Must have hands on experience with scripting languages (Ant/Shell Scripts) for creating and generating build scripts.
Must have working experience with version control systems ClearCase/CVS and Cruse Control/Build Forge etc.
Must have working experience with Linux/Unix/Windows operating system environment.
Must have experience with Web Services, XML, and SOAP.
Beneficial to have experience using the Eclipse IDE.
Must have experience using one or more open source tools and software platforms Must have deployment experience with one of the following application servers (Weblogic, Webshpere - ranked in order of preference)
