Lawson System Administrator (15558) – Phoenix

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Lawson System Administrator to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.


Job Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Perot Systems prestigious healthcare accounts onsite at the client location. This individual will perform System Administrator duties in a Lawson LSF 9 / AIX Unix environment running the HR/ Payroll, Finance, and Materials Management suites.

Responsibilities will include:

• Lawson Setup and Configuration
  
• Lawson Performance Tuning
  
• Installation and verification of service packages and critical service patches to maintain Lawson Applications, Advanced Products, and Technical Environment including Portal, ProcessFlow, Self-service applications, and WebSphere
  
• Collaboration on support requirements and system availability, response time and overall performance the with Unix, Database, Windows Server Administrators
  
• Perform Software Control for modifications and custom programs
  
• Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution for end user security and connectivity issues
  
• Printer Administration
  
• Job queue setup and production job schedule
  
  Required Skills:
  
• 3 - 5 years experience with Lawson System Administration, Security Classes, User Administration, Upgrades and Patches, Portal/Web environment, and Lawson reporting (such as LBI)
• Lawson Install, Configuration and Maintenance Experience
  
• Lawson Troubleshooting & Support
  
• Ability to work within a team environment
  
• Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve technical issues and communicate
  Solution’s to client.
  
• Excellent customer service skills
  
  Desired Skills:
  
• LSF 9 experience is a plus but is not required
  
• Lawson 4GL programming
  
• Java development
  
• WebSphere administration
  
• LDAP
• place 6th desired skill
  
  Minimum Educational Requirements:
  
• Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience
  
  
  On -call is required and will rotate within team
