Work on the cutting edge of advanced military systems software engineering while living and playing in one of the golfing and sun capitals.  This client designs and develops highly sophisticated state of the art systems including advanced imagery software and multi-sensor integration to enable battlefield management systems.  This position requires an expert systems software design guru with in-depth experience developing and building large, complex systems, who can lead software intensive projects with interdisciplinary, local and remote teams, and who can tailor/optimize the entire software-engineering process in a military C2 or C4 systems environment.  If you have recent (as in the last 3 years) working on DoD or HSD systems, hold a current or recent security clearance, and are able to pass EBI, and are a US citizen, this is a unique opportunity to advance your career. You will design and develop software systems and applications for feature enhancements and new products. Research, design, document, and test software applications by perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into software specifications. Requires a MSEE or MSCE degree with a minimum of 9 years in software design and development engineering for Java, Web Services, C, C , XML, SOAP, and .NET in both LINUX and Windows environments.  In addition, you MUST have at least 4 tears experience working in Battle Command, C2, and C4 systems. A proven track record in architecture development, software application design, implementation, and test for a services oriented architecture in OO design, multithreaded and distributed programming. Must be efficient in the use of Java Technologies (RMI, Jini, J2EE), Web Services (SOAP, UDDI), C#, C , .NET and XML. Experience with any of the following is a plus: Software Security, Clustering/Grid computing technologies, Map-based Visualization products, real-time programming.  You must be able to travel 20% of the time.  Applicant must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance, specifically a secret level DoD security clearance by passing an extended background investigation (EBI).Company offers well above average compensation and relocation package with superb benefits.  Applicant must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance.
