May perform one or more of the following:



This role involves both new project development in addition to providing enhancements to existing applications and ad hoc requests. Stay current in the understanding of functional areas of the business and effectively enhancing user ability to perform job functions. Write programs per specifications to provide desired results within the guidelines as outlined by the department and write specifications.
Troubleshoot reported program/system production problems and prepare/implement solutions. Provide assistance in the development of implementation and conversion plans for applications within application group. Conducts testing of program/job/integration, coordinate with user community during and after acceptance testing.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and transform them into technical application and database design.
  
• Implement the design to develop and to test the functional requirements.
  
• Collaborate with business teams, the application development team and database administrators to understand and document project requirements.
  
• Develop and document functional and technical requirements.
  
• Contribute to preparation of documentation for all development work performed.
  
• Unit test all modifications and development.
  
• Contribute to the preparation of quality system documentation including project description, business requirements, test plans, test scripts, training documentation and recommendations.
